William Tell Overture

The overture to Rossini’s famous opera William Tell is structured into four distinct sections. The first part presents a slower, pastoral opening, while the later sections build in intensity, moving through the dramatic “Storm,” the lyrical “Ranz des Vaches,” and culminating in the exhilarating “Finale,” best known as the famous gallop.
