Kashan Rich Red Persian Carpet with Floral Medallion and Borders

This stunning Persian carpet appears to have been woven in the design of the Kerman region, known for its rich red central block colour and elaborate floral medallion. The base of the carpet's border and medallion begin with a dark navy blow into which are weaved patterns of beautiful flowers in other shades of blue and beiges. The carpet is symmetrical along two axes.
