This large cuckoo clock is based around the theme of hunting. It is crowned with the head of a large wooden carved deer with delicate antlers whilst on either side sit two shotguns. On either side of the clock face hang a rabbit and a pheasant as they would hang if they'd just been shot and caught. Surrounding the clock face is a perfectly round bugle whilst above it is the small hatch from which the cuckoo appears. The clock face itself displays the numbers in Roman numerals. The entirety of the clock is decorated with carvings of oak leaves and the base of the pendulum itself is an oak leaf. Two weights hang down in the shape of pine cones.
